Newfound Sound would like to acknowledge the City of St. John's for providing funding in 2025 to support performance costs. The funds were used towards stage costumes to be used by the chorus for local appearances and for our upcoming attendance at the Atlantic Area 1 Convention and Contest where we will be representing Newfoundland and Labrador as the only women's chorus from this province. Newfound Sound would like to acknowledge and thank the Bruneau Centre for Excellence in Choral Music (MUN) for its generous grant provided to us in 2025. The funds were used to operate a free four-week public workshop "Singing Brings Us Together". Over 20 women registered and learned a song with our chorus, and were invited to perform the song on stage at our spring concert. Grant funds were also used towards our spring concert "Music Brings Us Together" held in May 2025 with guest choir Spectrum and other performers. We very much appreciate the financial support from the grant and community supporters that made these two worthwhile events so successful!

As a non-profit chorus, Newfound Sound is funded by its membership through fees collected to cover expenses and run the chorus.
